The Antelope Club was founded in 1953 by some of Indianapolis’s finest citizens, and they would meet at various establishments around downtown Indianapolis. Our facility was built as a private residence in 1898 and remained so until 1947 when it became an insurance agency. The Club moved into the building after extensive renovations in 1964. For almost 70 years, the Antelope Club has provided a “home on your way home” to governors, mayors, sheriffs, and countless other ne’er-do-wells. The Club continues to honor its founding fathers by upholding the ideals and traditions that they so graciously put into place all while having fun doing it. We’re looking ahead to the next 70 years with bright eyes and beer in hand. Pronk on!
